Marc Gillinov, MD, is a staff cardiac surgeon at the Sydell and Arnold Miller Family Heart & Vascular Institute at Cleveland Clinic.  He is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, and holds the Judith Dion Pyle Chair in Heart Valve Research at Cleveland Clinic. Spurred by patient's questions, Dr. Gillinov has recently extended his efforts to help people achieve heart health by teaming with Cleveland Clinic cardiologist Dr. Steven Nissen to write a book entitled, "Heart 411: The Only Heart Guide You Will Ever Need."
